Parts to be Inspected. N/A
8. Inspection Procedures..
Conduct visual inspection of
the lateral servo bellcrank assembly to
deter-
mine the serial number, part number and manufacturer's CAGE code.
a. If the manufacturer 's CAGE code is other than "15152", the inspection is complete and the Red Hori-
zontal Dash //--// entry may be cleared.
NOTE
In the event the aircraft is away from home station and the time since new does not exceed 360
hours, the unit Commander may authorize a one--time flight (Not to exceed 360 hours, time since
new on lateral bellcrank servo assembly) to home station or nearest maintenance facility for
correction procedures.
b. If the manufacturer's GAGE code is "15152", or the serial number is within the range of 32954--001
through 32954--160 or 0063--695 through 0063--912, enter a Red //X// on the DA Form 2408--13 and proceed
Correction Procedures.
a. If discrepant lateral servo bellcrank assembly is installed, remove and replace with a serviceable
lateral servo bellcrank assembly IAW appropriate technical manual.
b.
Complete and attach DD Form 1577/DD form 1577--1 to discrepant part IAW paragraph 10d.
10. Supply/Parts and Disposition.
a. Parts required. Items cited in paragraph 12c may be required to replace defective items. Lateral
servo bellcrank, P/N 70400--08166--041 can be used in either UH--60A or UH--60L aircraft flight configurations
and requires no additional hardware.
b. Requisitioning instructions. Requisition replacement parts using normal supply procedures. All req-
uisitions shall use project code (CC 57--59) "X0L" (X--RAY--ZERO--LIMA).
NOTE
Project code "X0L" (X--RAY--ZERO--LIMA) is required to track and establish a data base of stock
fund expenditures incurred by the field as a result of SOF actions.
c.
Bulk and Consumable Materials. N/A
d. Demilitarize/mutilate any part/component which does not meet inspection criteria IAW
TM 1--1500--283--23.
e. Disposition of Hazardous Material. IAW Environmental Protection Agency directives as implement-
ed by your servicing environment coordinator (AR 200--1).
11. Special Tools, Jigs and Fixtures Required. As required.
a. Category of Maintenance. Aircraft downtime will be charged to AVUM maintenance. Report aircraft
Non--Mission Capable Maintenance (NMCM) while undergoing inspection and correction IAW this TB.
b.
Estimated Time Required.
(1) Total of 1 man--hours using 1 person to complete inspection.
(2) Total of 3 man--hours using 1 person to replace suspect components, if required.
(3) Total of 3 hours downtime required for one end item if component replacement is required.
